Lately there has been a huge hype about the Clarisonic Skincare system. But since there is always a hype about something, I was nearly oblivious to it. However, what brought my attention to the Clarisonic SkinCare System is that Oprah selected it as one of her favorite things.
Oprah is fairly selective about the products she recommends, so I started reading into it more. What next caught my attention about the Clarisonic Skincare system was the customer testimonial it receives. The vast majority of Clarisonic users give the skincare system very positive reviews. Most Clarisonic users report that their skin feels softer and cleaner after use. Others state that they see fine lines disappear. Still others like the way that their makeup is easily removed.
There are of course a few negative reviews, but remarkably very few. Some state that the Clarisonic has made their acne condition worse. This is not hard to believe if you understand how the Clarisonic works. Using a sonic system similar to the Sonic Toothbrush, the Clarisonic Skincare system brings up deeply embedded dirt, and of course bacteria. Since bacteria causes acne, the Clarisonic can spread and make acne worse. Those who have a problem with acne are therefore encouraged to use a cleaner made for acne together with the Clarisonic. There are many types of acne skincare cleaners with built in antiseptic or antibacterial ingredients so this is not a difficult problem to solve.
The cost of the Clarisonic is also one thing that disappoint some users. The Clarisonic is certainly not cheap. The suggested retail pricing of the Clarisonic is nearly 0. But many retailers offer discounts so a smart shopper can often find the Clarisoic being offered for 0 or even less. Even this price sounds high to some. But when you compare that cost with a visit to a cosmetologist or esthetician which can run or more, then the Clarisonic is actually quite affordable.
The bottom line is that the Clarisonic SkinCare System appears to offer value for the money to many consumers. It also comes with Oprah's stamp of approval. Perhaps we should be paying attention to the hype about Clarisonic.
